Digital Business Card

Overview
The company had a lot of churn on our sales team. Many team members would not even make it through their first 90 days, and attrition is costly. Eliminating traditional printed business cards and the associated shipping costs was one way we could recoup some of those costs.

Challenges
- Can we leverage an existing product?
- Cost

Solution
We scoped the project based on a collaborative brief created in conjunction with the sales team. Then we built low-fi wireframes based on their needs and our anticipated user flow. We hired a product dev company that had done something similar to what we were looking to do. However, after some time it became clear that they had oversold their ability to deliver a bespoke product. We pivoted to working with a Polish team that was developing our website and the rest, as they say, is history,

Doing this digitally allowed us to explore functionality that we would not have had with print. Not only would these cards forward contact information to a sales prospect, but we could also gather data on their needs, highlight products that they may not be aware of, drive traffic to our website, etc. We basically created a digital business card that doubles as a powerful marketing tool.
