Corporate Website
Overview
The original website was hastily built during the company’s initial startup phase. As is often the case in these situations, it became clear that the website needed to evolve as our business grew.
Challenges
- Team member bandwidth
- UI/UX
- Overseas talent management and workflow
Solution
We knew we would need to hire some contract workers on the dev side so we hired a team in Poland to handle that end. Together we worked out an efficient workflow that included both synchronous and asynchronous check-ins.
Our in-house team went old school and we used a whiteboard and post-its to build some low-fi wireframes. After that, we began work on copy, visual assets, and a design system. Once the design system was complete we built high-fidelity mocks and shared them with our overseas team.
Our in-house team would develop a page at a time and at the end of the day we would shoot prototypes to our overseas team. They would, in turn, work through what we had our night and we would review in the morning, checking in throughout the day as needed. It was an efficient process and allowed us to be quick and nimble,
