
Promotional Magazine
Overview
We were asked to create a magazine that could be distributed at our Founder/CEO’s speaking events that highlighted his life achievements and philanthropic educational non-profit.
Challenges
- Highlight a career without being braggadocious
- Creating a publication identity
Solution
I built an identity that centered around typography, his current company colors, and dramatic portrait photography. The headlines used big and bold typography (like the man himself) and had secondary messaging called out with a contrasting color. This was all on a field of orange (which was both his company’s and foundation’s primary color). This was used for each article to create a consistent look and tone.
